About the position

The Senior Manager, Demand Planner at Swire Coca-Cola plays a critical role in supporting the Sales team's Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Integrated Tactical Planning (ITP) initiatives. This position is responsible for generating and assessing a 24-month horizon Demand Plan, which is essential for driving supply chain processes and resource allocation decisions. The Demand Planner collaborates cross-functionally to ensure accurate forecasting and effective management of product distribution, ultimately enhancing the company's ability to meet consumer demand.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile multiple forecasts into a single source of truth for the Demand Plan.
  • Collaborate with Supply Planning and sales leaders to support weekly execution of regional customer plans.
  • Manage and optimize the Demand Planning system to create and review statistical forecasts.
  • Participate in cross-functional collaboration meetings to facilitate an accurate Demand Plan.
  • Track and manage demand planning KPIs to drive improvement in the demand planning process.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing during account reviews and promotional activities to ensure accurate demand planning.
  • Conduct proactive forecast quality assessments using trend analysis and promotional calendars.
  • Support management of material introduction and deletion for forecast needs.
  • Understand dynamics of assigned categories and items, including seasonality and pricing trends.
  • Monitor forecast error/accuracy and perform root cause analysis for continuous improvement.
  • Support integrated planning requirements and other assigned projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Statistics, Business or relevant field preferred.
  • 2-3 years' experience in demand planning, forecasting, analytics, or supply chain management required.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across departments and organizational boundaries required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting, and their financial impacts required.
  • Experience in Six Sigma project analysis and improvement techniques required.
  • Experience in consumer food or beverages industry preferred.
  • Prior experience with S&OP processes and IBP desired.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, required.
  • Prior use of forecasting and planning systems preferred.
  • APICS or other forecasting certification preferred.

  • Experience in the consumer food or beverages industry.
  • Prior experience with sales and operations (S&OP) planning and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
