About the position

Vision Research, a Business Unit in the Materials Analysis Division of AMETEK, Inc., is seeking a high-energy Digital Marketing and Communications Leader to spearhead our marketing initiatives globally. This key leadership role is responsible for shaping our Phantom brand's digital presence, driving lead generation, and optimizing customer engagement across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of SEO, SEM, SMM, content marketing, marketing automation, and a wide array of digital marketing tools. You will directly manage an international team, vendors, and the marketing budget to optimize the overall ROI. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product, and design to ensure alignment between digital marketing initiatives and company goals. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough keyword research, executing on-page and off-page SEO strategies, and managing SEM campaigns (PPC) to maximize website traffic, search rankings, and conversions. You will also create engaging, valuable content across various formats such as video, website copy, social posts, and email, ensuring it aligns with SEO best practices and effectively communicates our value proposition. Additionally, you will oversee social media strategy using tools like Hootsuite, build and manage a strong brand presence across key platforms, and analyze data from Google Analytics and marketing platforms to evaluate campaign performance and inform strategic optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with overall business objectives, enhance brand visibility, and drive growth.
  • Directly manage an international team, vendors, and marketing budget to optimize the overall ROI.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, product, design, etc.) to ensure alignment between digital marketing initiatives and company goals.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research, execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies, and manage SEM campaigns (PPC) to maximize website traffic, search rankings, and conversions.
  • Create engaging, valuable content across various formats (video, website copy, social posts, email, etc.) that aligns with SEO best practices and effectively communicates our value proposition.
  • Oversee social media strategy using Hootsuite or similar tools, build and manage a strong brand presence across key platforms, foster customer engagement, and monitor social media analytics.
  • Analyze and interpret data from Google Analytics and marketing platforms to evaluate campaign performance, identify trends, and inform strategic optimization.
  • Leverage CRM systems for campaign management, automation, lead nurturing, and customer segmentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in digital marketing, demonstrating success in SEO, SEM, and SMM strategies.
  • Strong understanding of website content management systems (CMS).
  • Solid analytical skills and experience interpreting data using Google Analytics or similar tools.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills with impeccable copywriting abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of SEO tools (Silktide, Ahrefs).
  • Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Proofpoint).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Pardot).
  • Understanding of marketing automation principles.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
  • Proactive learner with an interest in emerging technologies in digital marketing.
  • International team leadership experience with either direct or indirect reports.
