About the position

As a Senior Manager of Digital Marketing at Lonza, you will play a pivotal role in managing the Capsule & Health Ingredients (CHI) division's global campaign playbook while driving digital transformation initiatives. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking and tactical execution, as you will collaborate with various stakeholders, including product marketing, regional marketing, and IT, to develop and implement innovative digital marketing solutions. Your primary focus will be on optimizing digital channels and ensuring that marketing campaigns align with the strategic objectives of the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining CHI's global campaign calendar and playbook. This involves establishing scalable processes, templates, and tools that promote collaboration among stakeholders and implement best practices in campaign management. You will also lead the optimization of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including marketing automation, social media, and the company website. Your ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights will be crucial in tracking campaign effectiveness and driving demand generation. The position requires a strong understanding of digital marketing platforms and tools, including Google Ads, Google Analytics, and various project management software. You will need to cater to multiple time zones and be prepared for occasional travel, estimated at 10-15%. The ideal candidate will have a background in the biotech industry and a passion for leveraging digital marketing to improve lives globally. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain CHI's global campaign playbook.
  • Collaborate with product marketers, regional marketers, and corporate communications to execute CHI's global campaign calendar.
  • Establish and maintain scalable processes, templates, and tools for campaign management.
  • Optimize digital marketing campaigns across various channels including content preparation, execution, analytics, and optimization.
  • Plan, pilot, implement, and scale new digital channels such as pay-per-click and search engine optimization.
  • Partner with stakeholders to track and report campaign and channel effectiveness.
  • Drive CHI's lead management process and demand generation in collaboration with marketing operations.
  • Share best practices and insights with the team to foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience in digital marketing and campaign management.
  • Strong analytical skills to track and report on campaign effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, and social media platforms.
  • Experience with project management tools like Jira, Monday, Workfront, Basecamp, or Asana.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Adobe Analytics.
