About the position

Aras is seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Digital Marketing to lead our B2B email marketing initiatives and support our Google paid search efforts. This role is pivotal in developing and executing comprehensive email marketing strategies that engage and convert our B2B audience. The ideal candidate will work closely with Regional Revenue Marketing Leads to create effective email strategies and segmentation plans, ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives. The Senior Manager will oversee the entire email marketing process, from content creation to deployment and optimization, while utilizing analytics to inform decision-making and optimize campaign outcomes. In this position, the Senior Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of email campaigns, ensuring they adhere to best practices across various devices and platforms. The role also involves collaborating with design and content teams to develop and optimize landing pages that enhance user experience and increase conversion rates. The Senior Manager will monitor and report on email marketing metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership to drive continuous improvement. Additionally, the Senior Manager will assist in planning and optimizing Google paid search campaigns, working with our agency on keyword research and ad copy creation to maximize ROI. This position requires a proactive leader with strong project management skills, capable of navigating a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive B2B email marketing strategies using Marketo.
  • Design, implement, and optimize email campaigns to drive engagement, lead generation, and customer retention.
  • Collaborate with Regional Revenue Marketing Leads to strategize and segment email audiences effectively.
  • Manage the end-to-end email marketing process, including content creation, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
  • Monitor and report on email marketing metrics to assess campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of Google paid search campaigns.
  • Collaborate with our agency on keyword research, ad copy creation, and performance analysis to maximize ROI.
  • Develop and optimize landing pages to enhance user experience and increase conversion rates.
  • Work closely with design and content teams to ensure landing pages align with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Implement A/B testing and analyze results to continuously improve landing page performance.
  • Drive strategic plans and execution of email campaigns aligned with overall marketing goals.
  • Ensure email templates perform across device types, platforms, and modes, adhering to email best practices.
  • Utilize analytics tools to track and report on the performance of email marketing and paid search campaigns.
  • Develop and present regular performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting key insights and actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on B2B email marketing.
  • Marketo Expert.
  • Deep experience in lead scoring based on audience behaviors.
  • A keen attention to detail with an orientation toward being a brand steward.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with experience in A/B testing and improving email performance over time that aligns with KPIs.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy surrounding email compliance including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and TCPA.
  • Knowledge of standard email marketing methodologies for deliverability, subscriber list health, email creative execution, customer segmentation, dynamic and conditional content build-out, and personalization.
  • Proven track record of managing successful Google paid search campaigns.
  • A self-starter who can lead and run projects end to end and drive results while frequently aligning with partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
