About the position
The Senior Manager, Digital Product - Business Architect role at UnitedHealthcare is responsible for managing the Consumer Engagement Platform (CEP), which includes the technology stack for member engagement initiatives and prospecting campaigns. This position plays a crucial advisory role to Product Owners, ensuring that business needs are met while balancing architectural and engineering considerations. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to develop strategic solutions that enhance user experience and support business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Advise a team of Product Owners on strategic solutions for technologies impacting the CEP.
- Create and collaborate on solution approaches that align with business needs and product strategy.
- Break down technical concepts into business-friendly terms for better understanding by key business partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare, or technology OR 4+ years of computer science experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing technology with a deep understanding of product strategy and data management.
- 5+ years of experience in an Agile/Scrum work environment, understanding user stories and development processes.
- 5+ years of experience in collecting and analyzing performance data to identify new business opportunities.
- 5+ years of experience engaging clients in strategic discussions on business value and technology goals.
- 5+ years of experience with excellent communication skills for both technical and business audiences.
- 5+ years of experience demonstrating strategic thinking to diagnose problems and identify solutions.
- 5+ years of experience being self-directed and driving solutions to completion with minimal oversight.
- 5+ years of experience with attention to detail and time management skills.
- 5+ years of experience developing a deep understanding of customer and product needs.
- 5 years of experience representing both Business and Product during team interactions.
- 5+ years of experience with CA Rally or Aha.
- Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office.
