About the position

As a Senior Manager in Digital Product Management focusing on Supplier Experience at American Express, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of B2B payments. This position is part of the Global Commercial Services (GCS) division, which is dedicated to providing businesses with innovative payment solutions that facilitate their growth. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development of product capabilities and features that enhance the supplier experience across various touchpoints with American Express. You will be tasked with building comprehensive product development roadmaps and ensuring alignment with multiple partners on key deliverables. In this role, you will be responsible for translating new user journeys into actionable development plans, identifying opportunities for improvement within end-to-end product designs, and collaborating closely with Product Management to understand the strategic vision for product growth. You will also partner with technology teams to design optimal solutions that meet business objectives. Your ability to create thorough documentation and translate business requirements into technology delivery will be crucial. Additionally, you will be expected to deliver executive-level communications and updates, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged. The B2B Solutions team is focused on building a new business model that addresses the needs of various customer segments, from small businesses to large global clients. As the market evolves, your leadership will be essential in driving customer experience management and prioritizing the product roadmap to capture B2B spend through ecosystem partners. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and operational detail, as you will need to balance high-level strategy with the intricacies of product development.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the creation of product capabilities and features to ensure optimal customer experience across Supplier touch points with American Express.
  • Build product development roadmaps and align with multiple partners on key deliverables.
  • Translate new user journeys into actionable development planning.
  • Identify key areas of opportunity within end-to-end product designs to enhance digital self-serve tools.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to understand strategic vision for product growth and define objectives and key success metrics.
  • Partner with Technologies to identify high-level architecture and design for optimal solutions based on business objectives.
  • Create thorough documentation and translate business requirements into technology delivery.
  • Deliver executive-level communications, updates, and reporting.
