About the position

The Senior Manager, Digital Product Management at DISH is responsible for leading a team of Digital Product Managers to enhance and build consumer direct and omnichannel capabilities. This role involves overseeing a large portfolio of digital products, collaborating with various business partners and cross-functional teams, and advocating for user-centric product design. The position aims to ensure that digital products create value for the business and improve the end-user experience, all while championing digital transformation and lean-agile practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a team of Digital Product Managers in a squad/pod model.
  • Collaborate with business partners to define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.
  • Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and IT engineering.
  • Foster a strong partnership with IT engineering to align product and business strategy.
  • Champion digital transformation and drive continuous improvement across the enterprise.
  • Advocate for end users by working closely with UX researchers and product designers.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product roadmaps incorporating user feedback and market trends.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital products.
  • Communicate product status, updates, and achievements to key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience managing a team of digital product managers in a large enterprise environment.
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor a team of digital product managers.
  • Skilled in defining and communicating product visions and creating detailed product roadmaps.
  • Expertise in building relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Mastery of agile methodologies for product management.
  • Adept at conducting user research and analysis to gather insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage analytics tools for data-driven decision making.
  • Proven track record of identifying and solving complex problems.
