About the position

The Sr. Manager, Digital Product Management, Solution Management at Schwab leads large cross-product team initiatives, particularly focusing on retirement plan regulatory items. This role is pivotal in opportunity discovery, analysis, and ensuring effective execution of business priorities across technology scrum teams. The position requires strong project management and communication skills, along with a deep understanding of retirement plan ERISA regulations and administration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large cross-product team initiatives including retirement plan regulatory items.
  • Drive the discovery process for opportunities and complete necessary documentation for product teams.
  • Identify high-level business needs through outreach to key business partners.
  • Communicate data and functional requirements to the Product Owner and technology development teams.
  • Evaluate strategic, tactical, and risk management impacts of alternative trade-off decisions.
  • Manage a prioritization process that is transparent and balances needs across multiple stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with RPS, Technology, Client Experience, and Vendor Management for critical production processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years product management experience providing end-to-end business direction and digital product leadership.
  • Prior experience using Jira and Confluence, with an understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Experience collaborating with technology teams, product, marketing, and business partners to implement digital experiences.
  • Experience crafting and implementing processes for managing retirement plan product administration.
