The Senior Manager, Direct Sales position is a critical role that reports to the Sr. Director of Direct Sales New Business. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales for RapidScale services. The Senior Manager will lead a team of Cloud Solution Consultants (CSCs) who are tasked with developing and monetizing new market segments and communities beyond RapidScale's existing paths to market. This role is not only about capitalizing on current communities but also about identifying and developing new market opportunities. As a quota-bearing sales position, the Senior Manager will be accountable for achieving 100% of both quarterly and annual sales targets. Key responsibilities include meeting or exceeding sales targets, leading the Regional CSC Team, training newly tenured CSCs, collaborating with the Sr. Director of Sales to ensure the region outperforms company goals, actively recruiting and developing sales talent, onboarding new CSCs, and working with the marketing department to enhance RapidScale's brand within assigned communities. The Senior Manager will also provide feedback to management regarding products and services, develop scalable market strategies, and support the sales organization in front of prospects and end-user customers. This role requires travel as needed to build and nurture relationships with prospective customers and team members, with an expected travel requirement of 50%.
