About the position

The Senior Manager, Donor Development at March of Dimes is responsible for ensuring data integrity, analyzing reports, developing and stewarding donor relationships, and mobilizing supporters to drive mission impact and revenue growth. This role involves collaborating with the Executive Director or Senior Director of Donor Development to achieve revenue goals, establish partnerships, and lead market staff in executing fundraising events. The position emphasizes mission leadership, diversified revenue portfolio management, volunteer leadership, and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Ensure mission impact is at the forefront of all work and translate mission and advocacy to demonstrate impact.
• Leverage mission impact opportunities to engage supporters and drive revenue growth.
• Maintain and grow a donor revenue portfolio by moving donors through the donor continuum.
• Identify and develop strategic partnerships with corporate partners to increase local revenue.
• Ensure best-in-class fundraising events that drive impact and acquire new supporters.
• Collaborate with market leadership to identify, recruit, and steward qualified volunteer leaders.
• Hold direct reports accountable to market and individual productivity goals and provide constructive feedback.

• Proven success in cultivating and securing major gifts.
• Proven success in cultivating and securing corporate partnerships.
• Demonstrated ability to work and cultivate relationships across various sectors and communities.
• Proven success in recruiting and retaining high-level volunteer leaders and board members.
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate staff.
