Senior Manager Education

About the position

The Senior Manager of Education at HCA Healthcare is responsible for planning, developing, and deploying educational initiatives that support the analytics strategies of the Performance Improvement (PI) organization. This role involves collaboration with various departments to ensure comprehensive training programs are delivered effectively across the enterprise. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple educational mediums while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Education to maintain online help for various software applications related to labor management and patient throughput.
• Maintain a comprehensive education catalog including eLearning modules, videos, and job aids.
• Develop and send communications regarding software enhancements or limited implementations.
• Provide support or lead small-scale education initiatives for software enhancements or new processes.
• Provide logistical support for large-scale in-person training events.
• Manage education design, communication, scheduling, registration, and attendance tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5-7 years of relevant healthcare education or formal education experience, including curriculum development and training delivery.
• Strong technical writing and graphic design skills with a portfolio of work.
• Experience with Learning Management System (LMS) administration, preferably HealthStream.
• Working knowledge of e-learning technology platforms and instructional design methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with video editing software and eLearning development software such as TechSmith Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, or Articulate Storyline.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
