The Senior Manager of Employee Experience will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing the employee experience and HR operations at Woodward Tahoe, Boreal, and Soda Springs. This position reports directly to the General Manager and collaborates closely with the Vice President of Talent & Culture. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Senior Manager will act as a facilitator, coach, and strategic human resource business partner, balancing operational needs with strategic initiatives. In this dynamic role, the Senior Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies that enhance the employee onboarding and orientation experience, ensuring alignment with business objectives. They will oversee the Talent & Culture team, fostering innovative recognition and engagement programs that resonate with employees. Additionally, the Senior Manager will lead day-to-day employee housing operations, support team member safety and wellness initiatives, and manage employee relations and investigations in collaboration with various stakeholders. The Senior Manager will also focus on cultivating a culture of learning by designing and managing employee development, performance management, and succession planning programs. They will coach leaders on enhancing their effectiveness and mentor Talent & Culture team members on HR best practices. Operational excellence is a key focus, with responsibilities including designing organizational structures, leading recruiting strategies, overseeing payroll and benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Furthermore, the Senior Manager will spearhead employee engagement initiatives, data collection, and action planning, fostering an inclusive environment where all team members can thrive. They will champion the IDEAL (Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity, Allyship, and Leadership) programs, ensuring that inclusivity is woven into every aspect of the employee lifecycle. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and strong interpersonal skills to navigate the complexities of HR operations while maintaining a fun and engaging workplace culture.
