About the position

The Senior Manager, Engagement Marketing at the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) is responsible for leading marketing campaigns aimed at enhancing member engagement, satisfaction, and revenue generation. This role involves managing the member journey from acquisition to long-term engagement, collaborating with various AVMA entities, and utilizing diverse marketing channels to achieve program goals. The position requires a blend of strategic and tactical marketing skills to effectively communicate the value of AVMA's offerings to its members.

Responsibilities

• Lead marketing campaigns to generate member engagement and increase satisfaction.
• Manage the member journey from acquisition to long-term engagement.
• Collaborate with AVMA family members to support engagement activities.
• Identify innovative communication strategies to convey benefits to targeted audiences.
• Utilize various marketing channels to meet program goals.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional marketing experience, preferably in associations or healthcare.
• Demonstrated email marketing skills and experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a creative, cross-functional team environment.
• Results-driven with multi-channel marketing experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building consensus.
• Strong writing skills to simplify complex messages for diverse audiences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Basecamp preferred.
