About the position

The Senior Manager of Environmental Remediation is responsible for overseeing environmental remediation projects, developing long-term solutions to environmental and property assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves managing a portfolio of corporate legacy sites, coordinating with various stakeholders, and addressing significant legal and financial implications related to environmental risks.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental remediation projects to reduce risks and protect company assets.
• Develop long-range remedial solutions for environmental and property assessments.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies on matters related to CERCLA, RCRA corrective action, and hazardous waste treatment.
• Coordinate investigations, closures, and reporting with regulatory agencies and third parties.
• Manage a portfolio of corporate legacy sites at various stages of investigation and remediation.
• Negotiate and implement replacement water supply agreements with multiple parties.
• Integrate responses with internal stakeholders including finance, legal, operations, and risk management.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial documentation, including budget projections and environmental liability reserves.
• Conduct project cost/benefit analyses to support business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 12 years of related experience.
• Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of related experience is required.
• 10+ years of experience in environmental remediation.
