About the position

The Senior Manager EPIC Delivery & Implementation is responsible for the successful implementation of technology strategies and deliverables for complex initiatives at BJC. This role involves managing project and product portfolios to align with business goals, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, and establishing governance plans to achieve benefits realization. The position requires strong leadership in stakeholder management, financial oversight, and team cohesion to drive quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Authorize the structure of portfolios and align them with strategies and objectives.
  • Lead the definition, implementation, and review of the organization's Portfolio management framework.
  • Set parameters for the prioritization of PMO resources and changes to be implemented.
  • Recommend and implement corrective actions by engaging and influencing senior management.
  • Lead the ongoing monitoring and review of portfolios for impact on current business activities and strategic benefits.
  • Implement Portfolio governance and report on portfolio measures and benefit realization.
  • Direct the definition, implementation, and continual improvement of systems development.
  • Align systems development with business strategies and emerging technology opportunities.
  • Authorize the structure of systems development functions and platforms.
  • Set strategy for resource management within systems development programs.
  • Lead the creation or review of a strategy that meets the strategic requirements of the business.
  • Develop, communicate, implement, and review processes that embed strategic management in operational management.
  • Lead the identification and assessment of emerging technologies and evaluate potential impacts, threats, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties to facilitate intelligence gathering.
  • Create technology roadmaps that align organizational plans with emerging technology solutions.
  • Determine the strategic approach to understanding stakeholder objectives and requirements.
  • Manage relationships with senior stakeholders and serve as the escalation point for issue resolution.
  • Manage individual(s) including onboarding, training, workload management, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and adhere to departmental staffing, revenue, and expense budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
  • 10 years of relevant experience.
