The Senior Manager, Experience Product Development at Royal Caribbean Group is a pivotal role based in Miami, Florida, responsible for leading the ideation and delivery of high-quality vacation products for guests. This position reports directly to the Director of Product Development and is integral in championing the product vision across various stakeholders and partners. The Senior Manager will oversee the implementation of new concepts, experiences, activities, and dedicated spaces, ensuring that the Royal Caribbean International experience is consistently manifested through innovative vacation offerings. In this role, the Senior Manager will manage strategic rollout efforts for new ships, modernization of the existing fleet, and enhancements at private destinations. The position requires a collaborative approach, working closely with teams across Product Innovation, Operations, Newbuild, Design, Marketing, Digital, Sales, Risk Management, and Revenue Management. The Senior Manager will be accountable for the entire guest experience, from initial briefings through design and execution, ensuring that all concepts align with strategic goals and operational feasibility. Key responsibilities include providing leadership for product strategy, ensuring alignment among stakeholders, leveraging consumer insights to enhance the vacation experience, and managing the design and execution of products. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for establishing product standards, maintaining design guidelines, and developing annual operating plans in collaboration with the Project Management Office and Newbuild teams. Personnel management is another critical aspect of this role, including hiring, training, and developing team members to enhance the Product Development team’s capabilities.
