About the position

The Senior Manager, Finance & Budget at Sage Oak is responsible for overseeing all aspects of budgeting, categorical accounting, cash management, financial reporting, and fiscal compliance. This role works closely with the Director of Fiscal Services to ensure effective accounting and compliance systems are in place, enhancing organizational effectiveness. The position requires collaboration with school leadership to maintain sound fiscal practices and implement best practices in accounting and fiscal management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all budgeting and financial reporting processes.
• Manage categorical accounting and cash management activities.
• Ensure fiscal compliance and prepare for audits.
• Collaborate with the Director of Fiscal Services to enhance accounting systems.
• Work with school leadership to ensure sound fiscal practices.
• Lead efforts to implement best practices in fiscal management.

Requirements

• Experience in finance and budget management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and fiscal compliance.
• Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
