About the position

The Senior Manager, Finance Transformation will play a crucial role in the Studio Finance Transformation Team at NBCUniversal. This position is responsible for driving strategic initiatives that integrate new technologies, optimize financial processes, and establish best practices within the Studio Group Finance function. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and technical expertise, leading complex projects to transform finance functions and enhance decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Closely collaborate with finance senior management and business unit leadership teams to evaluate current processes and identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization.
• Champion the use and integration of new tools and advanced analytics to drive better business insights, enhance forecasting accuracy, streamline processes, and support strategic decision-making.
• Develop new financial models, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor performance, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations to support business objectives.
• Drive implementation of best practices in modeling, reporting, data analysis, and process design.
• Facilitate and manage complex financial projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in finance and continuously evaluate new tools and technologies for cost/benefit potential.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical skills with strong attention to detail and solid critical thinking.

Nice-to-haves

• MBA or relevant certification (CPA, CFA, PMP) preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of SAP ECC and S4 HANA/AoE/BPC/SAC/PowerBi.
• Media/Entertainment experience.
• Competence in modern financial tools and techniques, including machine learning, predictive analytics, and data visualization.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills.
