The CG Finance team is critical in driving business growth and profitability through strategic, financial, and operational leadership. As a Senior Finance Manager, you will be part of the CG Finance team, partnering with the TurboTax, Credit Karma, and QuickBooks Capital businesses. This role requires a seasoned finance leader with strong analytical and modeling skills and a deep understanding of SaaS. You will act as a business partner, supporting and challenging non-finance stakeholders, and will need the confidence and emotional intelligence to communicate effectively at all levels. The ideal candidate has experience in the tech industry and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. In this position, you will lead teams to deliver exceptional results and drive business growth. You will influence leadership to drive actions, behaviors, decisions, and business outcomes. Your advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel will be essential for analyzing complex business scenarios and building financial models. You will also need to demonstrate excellent strategic thought leadership skills, strong financial and analytical skills, and the ability to synthesize large volumes of data into insightful recommendations for the executive leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Operate in a leader capacity, proactively influencing, leading & coaching within the Finance organization and cross-functional teams.
  • Be a trusted advisor to the TurboTax / Credit Karma & QuickBooks Capital leadership team to develop and refine long-term strategic plans, proactively highlighting risks and opportunities related to business growth.
  • Partner with Product, Analytics, and Marketing partners to develop and monitor key performance indicators to drive insights and decision-making.
  • Create financial models to analyze complex business scenarios that drive and inform the go-to-market strategy.
  • Drive efficiencies and continuous improvement by streamlining, standardizing, and automating processes and reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience, including 2+ years of supervisory responsibility.
  • Experience in FP&A, management consulting, investment banking or similar roles.
  • Ability to lead teams to deliver exceptional results and drive business growth.
  • Ability to influence all levels of leadership to drive actions, behaviors, decisions, and business outcomes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to analyze complex business scenarios by building/improving financial models; programming knowledge (SQL) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellent strategic thought leadership skills, as well as strong financial and analytical skills.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing several priorities simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and ability to synthesize large volumes of data into insightful recommendations.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with experience in presenting to business partners with confidence, conviction, and credibility.
  • Experience with SaaS/Cloud Computing business models is a plus; MBA is a plus.
