About the position

The Senior Manager, North American Foodservice Marketing is responsible for leading the strategic direction of the Foodservice channel, encompassing both Branded and Private Label business. This role involves providing leadership on tactical and strategic initiatives that support the Foodservice Marketing and Operating plan, including branding, portfolio management, and financial oversight of P&L for Distributor and National Accounts channels.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and strategic direction for marketing planning and key deliverables.
  • Leverages data and insights to develop brand positioning and marketing strategies in the foodservice channel.
  • Owns the financial P&L for Distributor and National Accounts channels, including budgeting and monitoring results.
  • Develops and executes marketing strategy and planning, including branding, product portfolio, and promotions.
  • Manages product lifecycle from introduction to discontinuation, ensuring alignment with the ECN team.
  • Interfaces with the Sales team to provide insights and identify new product ideas with the Innovation team.
  • Leads communication and execution of Foodservice marketing programs and initiatives.
  • Supports the Sales team in building key customer business opportunities and provides selling tools.
  • Guides and develops a high-performing team, investing in training and growth opportunities.
  • Establishes and maintains key internal and external relationships, including cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of progressive work experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of direct Foodservice experience, familiar with distribution and national accounts.
  • 3+ years of managerial experience in marketing or advertising.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
  • MBA or business-related equivalent preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of marketing and product planning processes.
  • Strong cross-functional management skills and ability to meet project deadlines.
  • Highly effective project management, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage end-to-end development processes while meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
  • High attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Comfortable presenting data and strategies to internal and external customers.

Nice-to-haves
