About the position

The Senior Manager for Global Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) at Vertiv Corporation is responsible for driving the Global Manufacturing Strategy and Technology while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational excellence and support business growth. This role involves leading industrial transformation and supply chain readiness activities, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders, and translating customer requirements into defined manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Global Operational Strategy aligned with Vertiv's key initiatives.
  • Act as a Global Subject Matter Expert (SME) in infrastructure and systems manufacturing/integration technology and processes.
  • Responsible for Global Operational Scenario Mapping, planning, investment, and alignment with key stakeholders.
  • Lead NPDI/ETO-C/Design Transfer/Strategic Initiative projects from concept to execution.
  • Gather and analyze stakeholder requirements specifications for project offers.
  • Deliver outputs including Manufacturing Technology Readiness Level, Supply Chain Architecture scenarios, and Operational Risk Assessments.
  • Facilitate interlock and hand-off with Regional AME Teams during project phases.
  • Drive global interlock and alignment as the point of contact between Business Units and Global Operations.
  • Conduct strategic opportunity analysis and alignment with key stakeholders.
  • Lead the Global Manufacturing Technology Readiness Level for new and current technologies.
  • Support key supplier and ODM selection and qualification.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and project management.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in new product development and introduction processes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
  • Familiarity with FMEA analysis and supply chain mapping.
  • Knowledge of prototyping and pilot run processes.
  • Experience in cost analysis and capital expenditure planning.
