About the position

The Senior Manager - Global IT Risk and Security at Bunge is responsible for developing and maintaining the company's Information Security program to safeguard data and assets. This role involves managing risks and vulnerabilities, defining security policies, and ensuring compliance with IT governance. The manager will collaborate with global teams to implement security controls, assess business impacts of risks, and oversee security audits, while also nurturing relationships with internal stakeholders and providing training on information security topics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Bunge's Information Security program.
  • Manage risks and vulnerabilities, defining security policies and procedures.
  • Promote IT governance and compliance in the region.
  • Liaise with Global IT Risk & Security group and IT teams to implement information security controls.
  • Identify and assess business impact of risks, exploring compensating controls and proposing actions.
  • Oversee security technicians, administrators, and vendors safeguarding the company's assets.
  • Consult with SMEs to determine exposure level for Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs).
  • Demand appropriate mitigation and fixes from global and regional IT Towers and vendors.
  • Support Root-Cause analysis and discuss priority of risks.
  • Partner with Security Leads and Head of IT Governance to define and review global information security policies.
  • Oversee information security audits including compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Nurture relationships with internal stakeholders from various corporate and business areas.
  • Manage the development and implementation of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
  • Support end-user training on information security topics.
  • Manage staff by recruiting, onboarding, training, and providing day-to-day guidance.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on information security to the Global Chief Information Officer and regional IT leadership.
  • Advise and approve risk mitigation and definition of Management Action Plan (MAP).
  • Keep up to date with emerging threats and security tools, discussing continuous improvement of the Information Security Program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience in IT Security Management or IT Audit function.
  • 6 years of experience in managing IT Risk and Security, assessing business and IT risks, and implementing risk mitigation plans.
  • 6 years of experience in data analysis through IT Audits or IT Information Security Assessments.
  • 6 years of experience engaging IT managers and directors in a large multinational corporation.
  • 6 years of experience in data gathering from various IT platforms like Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, and SAP.
  • 6 years of experience managing IT audits or security-related projects in the food and agribusiness industry.
