About the position

The Senior Manager of Global Marketing at CeraVe will play a pivotal role in driving the brand's global expansion and product innovation. This position involves overseeing the cleansing category and managing product development processes, ensuring alignment with brand vision and market needs. The ideal candidate will leverage consumer insights and scientific research to create impactful marketing strategies and product launches, while also managing a team member.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the cleansing category and manage new product development.
  • Build a 3-year product innovation plan using consumer and scientific insights.
  • Manage end-to-end project launches, including insights, formula direction, and packaging design.
  • Oversee concept development and ensure alignment with brand equity.
  • Manage the product development process, including formula approvals and claims process.
  • Conduct market research to identify brand challenges and opportunities.
  • Create integrated consumer launch plans and coordinate execution of medical activation plans.
  • Manage production budgets and drive cost efficiencies.
  • Support management meeting agendas and present materials to senior management.
  • Coordinate communication across all zones for product categories managed.
  • Manage and develop the Assistant Manager of Global Marketing.

Requirements

  • 5-6 years of related business experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Global Marketing and/or Product Development in consumer-packaged goods or beauty.
  • Skincare experience is preferred.
  • Experience working collaboratively with Labs on new products or renovations.
  • Experience successfully launching and managing a new product or renovation through its entire life cycle.
  • Experience briefing and managing external creative agencies.
  • Proactive and able to self-manage projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially PowerPoint.
  • Excellent presentation skills to influence stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills within brand teams and cross-functional partners.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral.

  • Knowledge of dermatological products and consumer behavior.
