About the position

The Senior Manager, Global Product Marketing is a key role within the Global Respiratory Business Unit at Olympus, focusing on portfolio strategy and pipeline development for specific product lines, particularly in the Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) market. This position involves collaboration with various cross-functional teams to define user requirements, product features, and marketing strategies, ensuring successful product launches and market adoption.

Responsibilities

• Build portfolio strategy of specific product line(s) and software solutions to ensure sustainable growth and long-term market leadership.
• Collaborate with external business partners in SaaS and AI to manage distribution agreements, product creation, pricing, and lifecycle management.
• Execute voice of customer activities to develop user requirements for future product offerings.
• Collaborate with Market Intelligence to conduct research that informs business portfolio decisions.
• Lead internal cross-functional teams and regional marketing teams on business deliverables and requirements.
• Drive strategic planning, alignment of plans, budgets, timelines, and risk assessments.
• Develop and manage relationships with healthcare professionals to champion Olympus products.
• Ensure successful product launches by collaborating with regional marketing teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Engage in product training, field visits, and industry events to build clinical expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's or MBA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years' experience with medical devices, diagnostics, corporate strategy, and marketing.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Class III implantable medical devices preferred.
• Experience at the intersection of medical devices, SaaS software, and AI algorithms highly preferred.
