Responsibilities

  • Utilize your expertise in finance and data analysis to interpret data to create and analyze trends, feasibility studies and financial modeling within the health care profession
  • Consultation with physician practices for mergers, buy-ins and buy-outs, real estate, financial and operational metrics, etc.
  • Preparation of financial projections and pro formas, analyze healthcare practice financial performance against internal and external benchmarks, and conduct physician income distribution calculations
  • Exercise a high degree of initiative, judgement and decision making to achieve client engagement objectives
  • Participates in professional development activities and professional affiliations
  • Projects may include, but are not limited to: Mergers & acquisitions analysis and facilitation, Payer contract negotiations, Physician compensation, employment & alignment, Strategic planning & succession planning, Physician practice operational and revenue cycle assessment, Service line co-management, Transaction preparedness and due diligence, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Consulting, Fair market valuations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • 7 years experience in public accounting or related field
  • 5 years supervisory
  • Must have and preserve required licenses
  • Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Must be able to travel based on business needs
