About the position

As the Senior Manager, HR Operations (North America) you are a working-leader who can blend the tactical day-to-day work with strategic thinking and planning to advance the effectiveness/efficiency of the human resources services offered to employees in our North American operations business (Canada, Guatemala, and United States) while leading and developing a high-performing team. Working hybrid in our Morrisville headquarters, you lead a team of ten including: HR Shared Services (HRSS), Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, and Talent. The Senior Manager, HR Operations is responsible for overseeing the smooth execution of all regional HR processes and systems, ensuring efficient employee lifecycle management. This role will manage day-to-day HR operations within the region, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, compensation, labor relations, employee records maintenance, policy implementation, and compliance with employment laws. The Senior Manager, HR Operations will aim to optimize the employee experience and contribute to overall business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the smooth execution of all regional HR processes and systems.
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, compensation, labor relations, employee records maintenance, policy implementation, and compliance.
  • Lead a team of HR Operations team members with strong front-line execution and strategic alignment.
  • Partner with regional leadership and global HR leadership to refine and execute the HR Operations strategy and vision.
  • Drive continuous improvement in core HR processes and tools and standardization of processes with SOPs while leveraging technology.
  • Ensure regional HR Operations projects and initiatives align with the Annual Operating Plan budgeting.
  • Drive workforce planning, headcount management, and retention strategies within the region.
  • Provide consultation on employee engagement and program impact measurement.
  • Manage the regional HR COEs including HR Shared Services, Benefits & Leave, Compensation, Labor, Payroll, and Talent.
  • Provide project leadership in implementing new processes and workflows across the region.
  • Act as a change management champion for systems and processes within the region.
  • Manage multiple initiatives at once including project tasks, budget, and timeline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, Human Resources or related field.
  • 10+ years of escalating HR leadership experience, preferably within HR Operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to drive change, continuous improvement, and culture.
  • Team building skills as well as the ability to build relationships and trust.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel. Working knowledge of Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with extreme professionalism and discretion.

  • Experience working in a Global Business Services (GBS), HR Shared Services (HRSS), or People Services delivery model.
  • Experience developing a Talent Acquisition strategy for an organization with a seasonal workforce.
  • Experience leading or contributing to organizational realignments, workforce planning, small to medium scale reorganizations.
  • Experience with ORACLE Fusion HCH and ADP Workforce Now.
