About the position

The Senior Manager, HR Operations & Transformation is responsible for leading HR transformation initiatives with a focus on enhancing HR operations. This role involves collaborating with leadership to improve processes and practices to meet the evolving needs of the organization and workforce. The position is key in driving HR process improvement, enabling HR technology, and supporting project and change management activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and implement HR operations strategies aligned with HR and organizational objectives.
  • Identify areas for operational improvement and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the execution of HR transformation initiatives aligned with the company's strategic goals.
  • Lead efforts to assess and redesign HR processes to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Implement best practices and support automation initiatives.
  • Oversee the optimization of HR systems to support HR operations and transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HRIS vendors and internal teams to ensure systems meet organizational needs and requirements.
  • Ensure accurate management of employee data, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and separations.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and safeguard sensitive HR information.
  • Manage relationships with HR service providers, ensuring service levels are met and contractual obligations are fulfilled.
  • Monitor vendor performance and alignment with project timelines.
  • Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders to provide updates on HR transformation progress, outcomes, and challenges.
  • Lead and develop the HR operations team, providing coaching, feedback, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years related experience in HR operations, with at least 2 years in a management role overseeing HR processes and systems.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Experience in process improvement and consensus-building.
  • Demonstrated experience in HRIS optimization and HR technology implementation.
  • Strong business acumen with excellent consultative and process improvement skills.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
