About the position

The Senior Manager of HR Operations at HCSS is a pivotal role responsible for enhancing employee experiences through effective HR programs and processes. This position serves as a key liaison between management and employees, ensuring that HR operations align with the company's mission of providing exceptional service and support. The role involves overseeing a small team and applying advanced HR skills across various areas, including total rewards, data management, and compliance, to foster a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of competitive compensation structures, including merit pay and incentive plans.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking studies to ensure competitive HR programs.
  • Provide training and consultation on total rewards programs to supervisors, managers, and employees.
  • Serve as the primary contact for HR Operations systems and tools, ensuring alignment with Payroll, Accounting, and IT.
  • Ensure accurate and timely employee data management and reporting.
  • Guide HR Ops resources through complex investigations and employee relations cases.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for HR workflows and compliance.
  • Analyze organizational data to improve HR processes and support business performance.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in an HR-related role.
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite, with advanced spreadsheet skills.
  • Prior experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
  • Experience in designing and implementing total rewards structures.
  • Understanding of Federal and State employment and labor regulations.
  • Exceptional process and project management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business management, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in data analytics related to HR processes.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in HR.
