About the position

The Senior Manager, HR Operations at CentralSquare Technologies will play a pivotal role in leading the HR organization to enhance organizational effectiveness and deliver superior service aligned with the company's mission and vision. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations, ensuring that HR systems and technologies effectively support the HR strategy. The Senior Manager will define a vision for HR Operations and shared services, build core processes, and oversee the efficiency and effectiveness of HR systems. This includes the specification, development, and implementation of new or updated systems, reports, and policies, with a strong focus on continuous improvement. In this role, the Senior Manager will be responsible for all phases of HR system design and functionality, data management, reporting, and other operations related to the company's HR systems landscape. This encompasses managing people data, metrics, reporting, and analytics. The Senior Manager will drive HR service delivery improvements to ensure efficient, effective, and compliant HR services. They will also be tasked with optimizing HR systems to meet workforce requirements, creating opportunities for automation, and simplifying compliant processes. The position requires collaboration with IT to set the overall direction for HR systems and to direct the HR information strategy. This involves consulting with human resources, executives, finance, and other management to understand organizational needs for HR-related information and payroll. The Senior Manager will develop and manage the HRIS and Payroll teams, oversee the implementation of new functionalities, and manage vendors for HR technology. Additionally, they will support the creation and deployment of HR shared services strategy, establish protocols for issue response, and collaborate with other functional leaders to ensure the successful delivery of programs, policies, and initiatives. The role also includes HR budget development and oversight, analysis of HR spending, and leading special HR projects as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership across the HR organization to drive organizational effectiveness and superior service.
  • Oversee all aspects of HR operations and ensure HR systems and technologies support the HR strategy.
  • Define a vision for HR Operations and shared services, building core processes and overseeing efficiency.
  • Manage HR service delivery and drive improvements for efficient, effective, and compliant HR services.
  • Ensure data integrity, reporting, and analyze data flows for process improvement opportunities in HR systems.
  • Optimize HR systems to meet workforce requirements, creating opportunities for automation and reducing manual processes.
  • Leverage metrics and analytics to evaluate and identify HR process improvements and opportunities.
  • Set the overall direction for HR systems in collaboration with IT and direct the HR information strategy.
  • Develop and manage the HRIS and Payroll teams, overseeing implementation of new functionalities and business process improvements.
  • Manage vendors for HR technology, monitoring service levels and conducting regular business reviews.
  • Support the creation and deployment of HR shared services strategy and establish protocols for issue response.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to assure programs, policies, and initiatives are developed and delivered.
  • Develop and oversee the HR budget, analyzing HR spend, and leading special HR projects as necessary.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in a related field.
  • Certification in HRIS, Project Management Professional (PMP), or Six Sigma.
  • Proven management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of professionals.
  • ADP experience required.
  • 8+ years of progressive growth supporting HRIS solutions and implementations on a global scale.
  • 6+ years leading HRIS functional support teams.
  • 4+ years leading HR transactional support teams.
  • Experience managing HR compliance programs and knowledge of SOX, privacy, and other compliance protocols.
  • Strong experience with data, metrics, and reporting using Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and systems implementation experience.
  • Experience preparing and presenting summary information and proposals to senior leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strategic focus, and service-oriented disposition.
