About the position

The Senior Manager, HR Tech Change Management role is crucial for leading the implementation and adoption of HR technology solutions within the People & Places team at Uber. This position focuses on developing and executing change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions during HR technology transformations, engaging stakeholders, and facilitating training and communication efforts to enhance user adoption and proficiency in new systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies for HR technology implementations, including HCM & ATS transformations.
  • Identify and analyze change impacts and devise effective mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for HR technology initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication and engagement activities to build stakeholder buy-in and adoption.
  • Consult cross-functional teams to ensure successful change management execution.
  • Partner with other business leads to contribute to program changes, such as Compensation, Performance, and M&A.
  • Design training programs in partnership with various Subject Matter Experts to ensure employee proficiency in new HR technology systems.
  • Develop and maintain user guides, training materials, and support documentation.
  • Create and support the execution of communication plans to keep stakeholders informed about project progress, changes, and benefits.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management strategies and adjust as necessary.
  • Provide regular reports on change impacts and adoption rates to senior leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for change process improvement and optimization within HR technology implementations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in HR tech change management and project management.
  • Proven track record of leading successful change initiatives during HR tech transformations in large organizations.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and systems, including HRIS, HCM, and other HR technology platforms.

Benefits

  • Base salary range for San Francisco, CA: USD$180,000 - USD$200,000 per year.
  • Base salary range for Seattle, WA: USD$162,000 - USD$180,000 per year.
  • Eligibility to participate in Uber's bonus program.
