About the position

The HRIS Manager at SBA Communications is responsible for providing techno-functional expertise and advisory to the HR business function, focusing on designing scalable business processes and implementing best-in-class systems for operational efficiency. This role involves setting the strategic vision for the HR systems landscape, collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance system requirements, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations. The HRIS Manager will also lead functional projects aimed at driving automation and process improvements while mentoring and developing team members.

Responsibilities

  • Provide techno-functional subject matter expertise and advisory to the HR business function.
  • Set and lead the strategic vision and roadmap for the HR systems landscape.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT to identify and prioritize system requirements and enhancements.
  • Guide the evaluation and deployment of HRIS solutions with internal stakeholders.
  • Support the swift adoption of systems, updates, and processes through training and leadership.
  • Serve as a central resource for maintaining and improving the HRIS, including configuration and end-user access.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to identify system improvements and enhancements.
  • Identify and recommend short- and long-term goals for key performance metrics (KPI's).
  • Provide production support, including researching and resolving HRIS problems.
  • Secure data integrity within the HR system(s) through regular audits and data analysis.
  • Ensure HRIS system(s) are aligned with labor regulations and organizational policies.
  • Lead functional projects to drive automation and process improvements.
  • Provide guidance and support to the HRIS Analysts.
  • Develop and maintain HRIS best practices and training material.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.
  • 10+ years' HRIS experience.
  • 10+ years' hands-on Workday configuration experience.
  • Knowledge in Workday areas: HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Learning, Recruiting, Talent, Workday Docs, Help.
  • Leadership experience in change management, mentoring, and career development.
  • Knowledge of HR processes and regulations.
  • Experience leading system-related projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bi-lingual in English/Spanish preferred.
