About the position

The Senior Manager, Operations is responsible for managing the development and improvement of operational tools and customer-facing functionalities. This role involves providing direction on project requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the execution of business solutions to enhance efficiency and meet business goals. The position requires a strong focus on data analysis, project management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful implementation of initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and improvement of operational tools and reports.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and develop requirements for complex problems.
  • Partner cross-functionally with product management, merchandising, and engineering.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to implement business solutions.
  • Develop new innovations and tools for site selection and improve selection methodology.
  • Analyze and interpret information to improve business efficiency.
  • Develop and implement scorecards and tracking mechanisms.
  • Drive execution to meet metrics through customer service and platform development.
  • Source, organize, analyze, and interpret data for decision support.
  • Direct the execution of projects and manage associated project plans.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or a related field plus 1 year of experience in operations or project management, OR a Bachelor's degree in the same fields plus 3 years of experience.
  • Experience managing product roadmaps using Confluence, Jira, or Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Experience in technical program management and project management.
  • Ability to conduct capability assessments and map business capabilities to product features.
  • Experience in process improvement and change management.
  • Strong data-driven decision-making skills using tools like SQL, Tableau, and Excel.
  • Experience in strategic planning and KPI development.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with data-oriented storytelling for stakeholders using PowerPoint and Tableau.
  • Ability to create process maps and standard operating procedures using Microsoft Visio.
