About the position

The Senior Manager III, O & M Operations - Alliance Manager at Fluor is responsible for leading and managing complex projects and maintenance facilities within the Operations & Maintenance Function. This role involves establishing direction for the department, managing client relationships, optimizing project performance, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. The position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to make impactful decisions that affect the organization and its stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain client relationships through regular communication to understand project operations and gather feedback.
  • Manage project work according to contract terms, focusing on eliminating leakage and optimizing returns.
  • Identify profit share and bonus opportunities to reward employee performance excellence.
  • Review and manage business risks as assigned by the director of operations.
  • Identify future client requirements and upselling opportunities through on-site assessments.
  • Apply analytical tools to assess client organizations and propose project plans for profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with contract and Operating System Requirements (OSR) by clearly defining project duties.
  • Develop and adhere to Site Business Plans by monitoring budgets and performance.
  • Support sales efforts by assisting in presentations, estimates, and proposals, including negotiating terms.
  • Manage personnel and foster an environment for professional development and training.
  • Administer policies and procedures consistently across all business lines and locations.
  • Analyze situations, forecast problems, and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Organize and prioritize complex projects and tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and global standards.
  • Adhere to Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing complex projects and maintenance facilities.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client relationship management.
  • Ability to analyze risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Experience in sales support and contract negotiation.
  • Knowledge of compliance and operational standards in the industry.
