About the position

We are looking for an experienced IT/OT Technical Manager to lead, drive, and report on security compliance functions within the IT/OT department. These functions will enable the delivery of a high-quality service to OT end users and accelerate the strategic Security and Compliance posture of the IOPS (Industrial Operations and Product Supply) Operational Technology (OT) security program. You will contribute as a domain expert to technical design, implementation and support of OT cyber security solutions and OT standard methodologies within strategic IOPS sites. Our team works within the IOPS IT/OT team and liaises with other cyber security, Networking, Manufacturing, Automation, and IT teams. This position oversees the security compliance to ensure industrial sites are secure and aligned with company requirements. As a Senior Manager Industrial Cybersecurity Technology, a typical day might include the following: Leading the delivery of the security IT/OT solutions which identifying vulnerabilities and advising management and/or business owners of critical issues. Ensuring the highest level of service availability and efficiency as benchmarked against industry standards and consistent with enterprise goals and constraints. Providing oversight of compliance, OT security and effective delivery of OT related Services and systems throughout the business. Making recommendations, owning and driving Service Improvement Plans. Responsible for the Management of IT/OT Service Providers, for quality of Service, and for contractual and financial management of the respective Service areas being managed. Responsible for ensuring the highest level of service availability and efficiency as benchmarked against industry standards and consistent with enterprise goals and constraints. Responsible for compliance, security and effective delivery of IT/OT Services within IOPS. Be accountable reporting with a high degree of quality and consistency of data related to the security compliance posture. Drive meetings with our internal customers as it relates to the security compliance posture of their systems, covering current and desired states. Staff Management including mentoring, training, target setting and performance assessment. Be an ambassador for IT/OT, working across the business to provide effective communication on IT matters and build relationships with other teams to ensure effective dialogue between department.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of security IT/OT solutions, identifying vulnerabilities and advising management of critical issues.
  • Ensure the highest level of service availability and efficiency as benchmarked against industry standards.
  • Provide oversight of compliance, OT security, and effective delivery of OT related services and systems throughout the business.
  • Make recommendations and drive Service Improvement Plans.
  • Manage IT/OT Service Providers for quality of service and contractual and financial management.
  • Report on the security compliance posture with high quality and consistency of data.
  • Drive meetings with internal customers regarding the security compliance posture of their systems.
  • Manage staff including mentoring, training, target setting, and performance assessment.
  • Act as an ambassador for IT/OT, ensuring effective communication and building relationships across the business.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Technology Management or related field.
  • At least 5+ years of providing Infrastructure Architecture & Engineering leadership in defining, contributing and/or developing data center strategy and roadmap.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience managing staff and large scale outsourced managed services for Manager level.
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience managing staff and large scale outsourced managed services for Senior Manager level.
  • 4+ years of experience delivering IT/OT services to business or consumers for Manager level.
  • 5+ years of experience delivering IT/OT services to business or consumers for Senior Manager level.
  • Experience managing service contracts from a service and financial perspective.
  • Strong GxP experience and proven experience managing in highly regulated environments.
  • Service Management or support in a large-scale and diverse environment of incident management, escalation procedures and related disciplines.
  • Deep experience with ITIL disciplines.
  • Experience with operating systems (Microsoft Windows & Linux), VMware.
  • Experience with monitoring and security tools such as Splunk, Claroty and next Gen OT tools.
