About the position

The Senior Manager for Inside Pre-Sales at DoorDash will oversee the Inside Core team, focusing on onboarding local and regional small and mid-size merchants. This role involves leading front-line managers, enhancing their coaching and leadership skills, and driving team performance to meet growth and partnership goals. The Senior Manager will collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of initiatives and contribute to the overall vision of the Pre-Sales organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the vision and decisions for the Inside Pre-Sales Core team.
• Own the relationship with other Senior Managers and Directors within and peripheral to the team.
• Build and create the ecosystem around cross-functional team building.
• Manage a sizable team ensuring its effectiveness and continued growth.
• Drive sales conversion with the highest value Rx Mx.
• Execute against priority initiatives for senior leadership.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years in Inside Sales (previous experience or within DoorDash).
• 4+ years of experience leading teams that exceed goals.
• 7+ years experience in full-cycle, transactional sales.
• Strong management skills including leading OKRs, planning & forecasting, hiring, and driving process enhancements.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to create and size sales initiatives that impact sales organization performance at scale.
• Ability to navigate sales management tools (e.g. SFDC, Outreach and Chorus) while providing support analysis and reporting.

Nice-to-haves

• At least 1+ years of being a second-line leader (i.e. managing leaders) is a plus.
