About the position

The Senior Manager, Integrated Communications for Consumer Health at Bayer is responsible for developing and executing strategic communication initiatives that align with the company's business objectives and enhance its reputation. This role involves creating compelling content, collaborating with various stakeholders, and driving engagement among employees and external audiences to support Bayer's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Drive integrated strategic communications for the Consumer Health business by developing and aligning content that informs and mobilizes key stakeholders.
  • Create engaging content to motivate Bayer CH colleagues and support the company's transformation efforts.
  • Inspire employees to understand and embrace the new strategy (Road to Billions).
  • Collaborate with team members across communications and the business to address the needs of key stakeholders, including employees, investors, and media.
  • Partner with divisional communicators to ensure corporate functions and reputational initiatives are represented across key channels.
  • Support external communications in key message development and storytelling on core topics.
  • Coordinate participation for external presentations and engagements for the CH team.

Requirements

  • Strategic mindset with a proven track record in developing and delivering innovative communication strategies in a complex global organization.
  • Experience supporting senior executives and working with leadership teams to implement strategic communications programs.
  • Solid business insight with the ability to translate business goals into proactive communication strategies.
  • Ability to produce clear, compelling, and creative content in various formats.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on building trust and valuing diversity.
  • Ability to manage complex and sensitive information while maintaining confidentiality.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, or Business Administration.
  • 10+ years of experience in leading and implementing successful strategic communications programs, preferably in corporate communications or healthcare.
