About the position

The position involves managing ServiceNow Configuration and Asset Management within the IT Service Management domain. The role requires overseeing the full product lifecycle, ensuring quality and accountability for applications and processes, and providing leadership to teams. The individual will coordinate across multiple teams, manage departmental budgets, and support the strategic vision of the organization while ensuring adherence to service quality guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage ServiceNow Configuration and Asset Management processes.
• Oversee the full product lifecycle from inception to sunset.
• Provide leadership and direction to managers, senior analysts, and architects.
• Ensure compliance with service quality guidelines and metrics.
• Assist management in supporting the ITS strategic vision.
• Facilitate Configuration Management and Asset Management audits.
• Review and approve changes to the Configuration Management System (CMS).
• Mentor the organization on Configuration Management and Asset Management services.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets.
• Lead key customer meetings and maintain strong relationships with client leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Five years of experience in information systems and IT support responsibilities.
• Three years of progressive management experience.
• Extensive project management experience and knowledge of project budgets.
• Strong communication, human relations, and presentation skills.
