About the position

Walmart Connect is seeking an experienced education professional to lead the sales training and enablement programs for our sales organization. As a startup within the world's largest retailer, we are quickly developing new ad tech and internal tools and systems. You will play an integral role in ensuring Walmart Connect salespeople have the knowledge and skills to be successful in their position. In this role, you and your team will be responsible for developing courses and facilitating training for all salespeople. In addition, you will design and drive sales enablement programs to enhance sellers' revenue performance. This is not a remote position. The role will be expected to report into either of the following offices: San Bruno, CA or Hoboken, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement sales enablement programs
  • Lead sales workshops and training sessions
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop sales training content for workshops
  • Identify and track learning metrics to ensure effectiveness and ROI of programs/initiatives, specific to sales training activities
  • Facilitate weekly meetings with sales leaders and their teams
  • Meet with leaders to gain alignment and feedback on new and existing training programs
  • Conduct ongoing knowledge and skills assessments for sales associates

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in sales training or sales enablement
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in high-tech, eCommerce or Advertising industry
  • Proven success as a meeting and program facilitator
  • Strong EQ skills
  • Sales experience (B2B) 3-5 years
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Excellent program management skills
  • Self-starter who thrives on the excitement and challenge to build programs and teams
  • Ability to move fast in an often ambiguous and fluid environment
