About the position

As a Program Manager within Schwab's Wealth & Advice Solutions (WAS) organization, you will be responsible for identifying and designing training programs that enhance employee performance and align with business objectives. This role focuses on creating a culture of continuous learning and development, ensuring that employees have the skills and knowledge necessary for their professional growth and success in the finance industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative training experiences that help learners build, retain, and apply new skills to support our clients.
  • Lead new training program design from strategy to execution and implementation.
  • Work across stakeholder groups to develop business requirements, learning objectives, and curriculum outlines.
  • Partner with instructional designers on storyboards, design, and final delivery of training assets.
  • Monitor results, identify skill gaps, and development opportunities to improve training effectiveness.
  • Support the ongoing planning and execution of learning programs through detailed project event plans and virtual meeting management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years relevant experience in training/learning and development.
  • 3+ years in the financial services industry.
  • Working experience with Schwab programs and processes.
  • Track record of end-to-end program management delivery and results.
  • Understanding of wealth management business and how we support clients.
  • Strong project management skills, including leading projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Solutions-oriented individual who is successful navigating ambiguous situations and overcoming challenges.
  • Collaboration and relationship-building skills, including ability to influence, establish trust, and build positive relationships.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, across all levels of an organization.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
