The Senior Manager, Learning Systems & Enablement at RTX Corporation plays a pivotal role in enhancing talent development and performance management systems across the organization, which encompasses over 185,000 employees globally. This position is integral to the RTX Corporate team and is focused on implementing a comprehensive talent management strategy that prioritizes the learning and development of various employee segments throughout the enterprise. The Senior Manager will oversee the management of RTX's talent development resources, ensuring that all employees have access to essential learning materials and software. Reporting directly to the Director of Learning and Development (L&D), this role requires close collaboration with other talent development and learning (TD&L) teams, as well as business unit (BU) talent teams, to achieve organizational objectives effectively. In this role, the Senior Manager will drive the execution of advanced Workday solutions that align with talent and performance management processes across the enterprise. Acting as a Workday consultant for TD&L and RTX talent teams, the Senior Manager will partner with the HR Technology team, Workforce Intelligence Team, and various technology stakeholders to enhance learning technology efficiencies. The position involves managing projects from inception to completion, including project planning, stakeholder identification, and ensuring timely deliverables. Additionally, the Senior Manager will oversee talent management software systems, ensuring their functionality and accessibility for all employee groups. The role also includes leveraging Workday management systems to assess workforce learning and development gaps, preparing advanced solutions to meet organizational needs, and defining key program performance metrics to identify opportunities for innovation. By collating information and analyzing data, the Senior Manager will provide insights on the effectiveness of management systems in meeting global talent and organizational needs, utilizing data to recommend improvements. Furthermore, the Senior Manager will lead partnerships with RTX HR and Talent COE teams to effectively link learning and talent management systems to performance management metrics, enhancing workforce capabilities. This position requires proactive collaboration with TD&L, BU, and HR teams to communicate learning solutions to various audiences, including senior and executive leaders, within a highly matrixed organization. The Senior Manager will also research external talent technologies and present business cases for continued innovation to internal systems and processes.
