About the position

The position involves developing and optimizing customer journey maps, planning and analyzing marketing tests, and managing relationships with external vendors to enhance marketing capabilities. The role is critical in driving customer engagement and retention through data-driven marketing strategies in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new customer journey maps, identifying key touchpoints and opportunities for engagement
  • Plan, launch, and analyze A/B tests across Email and SMS channels using marketing automation platforms
  • Develop new ideas for customer feedback loops and use insights to inform and adjust marketing strategies
  • Define, own, and analyze KPIs for new marketing initiatives
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (including product, agency, and carrier partnerships) to ensure cohesive and aligned marketing efforts
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to enhance marketing capabilities
  • Implement new marketing communication technologies to optimize the customer journey and experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing and/or retention marketing, preferably within the auto insurance or financial services industry
  • Demonstrated success in designing high impact experiments and driving true value for customers
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions (Strong preference for candidates with SQL experience)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Expertise in marketing automation tools and CRM systems (specifically, Braze and Salesforce)
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to notice and address errors in job descriptions
