About the position

As a Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing, you develop and execute comprehensive strategies that enhance customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth. You leverage data-driven insights to craft personalized, multi-channel campaigns that guide customers through their lifecycle, ensuring they receive relevant messaging at the right time. You lead a team and collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, and customer success teams to optimize lifecycle programs, measure performance, and drive business impact. Balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution, you foster a test-and-learn culture to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a multi-channel lifecycle marketing strategy to drive engagement, retention, and upsell opportunities
  • Manage and mentor a team of lifecycle marketing professionals, fostering career development and high performance
  • Utilize customer data and behavioral insights to segment audiences and deliver personalized messaging
  • Oversee the creation and optimization of automated workflows, customer journeys, and nurture campaigns
  • Collaborate with product, analytics, and creative teams to deliver cohesive and personalized customer experiences
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align lifecycle marketing efforts with broader company initiatives, including product launches and promotions
  • Lead A/B testing and experimentation to continuously refine messaging, design, and targeting strategies
  • Define and monitor KPIs to measure lifecycle program success and make data-driven optimizations
  • Oversee campaign execution across email, SMS, in-app messaging, direct mail and other relevant channels
  • Drive innovation in lifecycle marketing by evaluating and implementing new tools, strategies, and best practices
  • Present performance updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, email marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in people leadership, with a proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams
  • Expertise in marketing automation platforms (i.e., Iterable, Appcues, HubSpot, Marketo)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with A/B testing, segmentation, and performance measurement tools (i.e., Google Analytics, Tableau)
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
