About the position

The Senior Manager of Loss Prevention (LP) Operations & Initiatives at Ross is responsible for leading cross-functional LP initiatives, ensuring compliance, and managing operations for both Ross and dd's Stores. This role involves project management, executive support, and effective communication with key business partners to drive results and improvements in loss prevention strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and roll out new Loss Prevention initiatives and compliance processes.
  • Lead projects ensuring accurate timelines, deliverables, and business updates are incorporated.
  • Interact and align with all levels of management to build consensus around changes and rollout plans.
  • Execute changes and manage daily operations of current programs and processes related to loss prevention.
  • Manage pilots, collect feedback, and recommend best implementation strategies for stores.
  • Manage project or program finances including establishing project costs and reconciling invoices.
  • Manage internal and external theft case compliance, training, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 7+ years of retail management experience including project management and business process ownership in Loss Prevention or Store Operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Loss Prevention operations and their impact on stores.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to anticipate customer needs.
  • Ability to influence and drive results through cross-functional partnerships.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team and corporate/field partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects from creation to implementation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Proven strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
