About the position

The Senior Manager Managed Network Services at Verizon is a pivotal role within the Verizon Business Group Product and Marketing organization. This position focuses on managing and optimizing the Managed Services product portfolio, ensuring a streamlined approach to delivering flexible and cost-efficient business solutions. The role involves close collaboration with various teams to define customer requirements, track performance metrics, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to align product strategies with customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Own the customer experience, business model, P&L, product and feature development for Managed Network Services.
  • Work closely with customers, sales, and product marketing to define requirements for the Managed Services offering.
  • Track bookings, revenue, attach rates, and margin performance, recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Build and iterate on a global Managed Services product strategy in alignment with peers in related product teams.
  • Manage and optimize the core Managed WAN Services Portfolio both domestically and globally.
  • Define a new approach to Managed Services using the Open Services Framework.
  • Evaluate combined wireline and wireless managed services solutions to differentiate Verizon's offerings.
  • Author collateral, FAQs, white papers, and presentations for internal and external use.
  • Interact with senior-level executives and customers to align Verizon's strategy with customer objectives.

Requirements

  • Six or more years of relevant experience in Product and/or Service Management.
  • Experience with enterprise customer analysis, market trends, and strategic thinking.
  • Proficiency in operating within a multi-channel/multi-region brand.
  • Experience with data and analytics for decision-making.
