About the position

The Senior Manager/Manager of Global Business Partnerships Marketing at American Express Global Business Travel is responsible for leading marketing efforts related to supplier growth and marketplace strategies. This role focuses on engaging partners and clients in the business travel industry, creating value and growth opportunities for air, hotel, and ground transportation suppliers. The position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and effective management of marketing processes to ensure alignment with the organization's brand identity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead marketing activities that create value and growth opportunities for air, hotel, and car supplier partners.
  • Build compelling presentations for quarterly business reviews, partnership events, and executive-level presentations.
  • Create marketing assets in partnership with the creative studio and manage marketing proof points in collaboration with different departments.
  • Effectively collaborate with senior partners and cross-functional teams to support larger initiatives.
  • Manage marketing/brand review processes from start to finish, ensuring materials are up-to-date and consistent with the brand identity.
  • Contribute creatively to the GBP marketing team, including brainstorming innovative ideas for marketing strategy and design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business management, communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of management experience in marketing or project management, preferably in travel, hospitality, or service industries.
  • Excellent presentation design skills and proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with active listening and effective information conveyance.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive through changing processes, priorities, and needs.
  • Experience working in a large-matrix organization and comfortability with global remote teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with briefing and collaborating with a creative agency is a plus.
