We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to oversee our Fabrication and Finishing operations during the 2nd Shift. You will be responsible for the operational plan, performance, and continuous improvement of a complete value stream within our manufacturing facility. Your leadership will be key in driving high performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Oversee the entire value stream within the plant, ensuring alignment with overall plant goals.
Develop and implement the annual operational plan for the value stream.
Lead a cross-functional team, including salaried and hourly team members, to achieve key performance metrics.
Utilize production line boards to monitor performance, identify issues, and ensure effective communication across shifts.
Maintain technical knowledge of operations and follow escalation processes to address abnormalities.
Ensure adherence to Lean manufacturing practices and standardized work processes.
Manage department metrics and budgets, preparing daily reports for production meetings.
Conduct daily start-up meetings and ensure effective communication through team meetings.
Champion the Appliance Production System philosophy and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead problem-solving efforts and root cause analysis for inefficiencies within the value stream.
Engage cross-functional teams to address and resolve operational issues.
Identify and reduce waste through short-term and long-term improvement initiatives.
Lead kaizen events and ensure implementation of countermeasures.
Provide active leadership to a cross-functional manufacturing team.
Set goals and provide career coaching, performance feedback, and training for team members.
Participate in performance reviews and manage disciplinary actions in partnership with HR.
Recruit and develop future leaders for the business.
Ensure defect-free products are produced according to specifications.
Monitor and ensure compliance with the Manufacturing Control Plan and quality standards.

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing management, particularly in shift operations.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
