About the position

The Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics for the Neuroscience & Eye Care MABI team at AbbVie will lead advanced analytic initiatives for the Migraine team, focusing on pipeline and inline assets. This role involves deriving insights from quantitative analytics, influencing strategic decisions, and collaborating with brand partners and external agencies. The position requires a strong understanding of market trends and the ability to communicate findings effectively across various organizational levels.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a market analytics lead and intelligence partner for Migraine Marketing, providing strategic insights and forming trusted relationships.
  • Lead custom analytics projects that deliver compelling and actionable learnings.
  • Perform sophisticated syntheses of learnings to develop actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain organizational knowledge of the market, competitive trends, and industry developments, communicating this knowledge to stakeholders.
  • Build solid relationships as a team player while maintaining objectivity and representing the voice of the customer.
  • Present learnings confidently across different levels of the organization.
  • Manage and collaborate with research suppliers effectively.
  • Monitor analytics within budget and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with financial and ethical guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Econometrics, Actuarial Science, Decision Sciences, Operations Research, Finance, or Applied Mathematics.
  • 8+ years of progressive business experience in marketing analytics, database marketing, data engineering, and predictive modeling.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in quantitative analysis of sales and marketing information.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and familiarity with pharmaceutical data.
  • Strong analytical reasoning abilities and intellectual curiosity.
  • Superior organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
