About the position

DISH, an EchoStar company, is seeking a strategic and innovative Senior Manager of Marketing Digital Technology to join our Retail Wireless team, which serves our Boost Mobile and Gen Mobile brands. This role is pivotal in redefining consumer expectations through new platforms and business models, leveraging our first-of-its-kind 5G network. The Senior Manager will be responsible for supporting the use of Marketing Technology (MarTech) tools across various lines of business, ensuring that our MarTech stack is optimized for all groups that utilize these tools. In this broad role, the Senior Manager will collaborate with marketing tactic owners, IT developers, project managers, technology vendors, and senior business managers. The primary objective is to evaluate tool usage, identify gaps in our technical setup, and advocate for recommended improvements. This position requires a blend of technical skills, critical thinking, and interpersonal abilities, as the successful candidate will need to articulate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical personnel. The role will also involve preparing and delivering presentations on project updates to stakeholders and senior leadership, ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged in the process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital acquisition technologies, email and SMS strategies, and paid media performance tracking. They will lead and coach a team of digital technologists, manage and optimize paid media landing pages, and support the rollout of new marketing capabilities. Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a team of digital technologists to support business growth.
  • Partner with the paid media team to optimize digital support systems and grow the business.
  • Manage and optimize paid media landing pages, A/B testing structures, and technology integrations.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on project updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Support the roll-out of new marketing capabilities, refine performance measurement systems, and maintain vendor relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant course of study preferred.
  • 10+ years experience with Marketing Technology in a B2C context, with a preference for experience with Oracle Responsys, Unbounce, Invoca, LiveRamp, Google Analytics, and Tag Managers (Adobe Tag Manager).
  • Experience with marketing tools that support online/Digital campaigns in areas such as campaign management, attribution measurement, data management platforms, and behavior analytics.
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas in a way that is simply understood and facilitates decision making.
  • Experience in media and ad operations.
  • Excellent communication skills applied to building relationships, providing guidance, and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis to identify trends, optimize campaigns, and make informed decisions based on performance metrics.
  • High degree of proficiency with paid media tracking platforms, reporting tools, and marketing automation software is required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
