About the position

The Senior Manager of Marketing & Media Relations at Cenikor is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of strategic marketing initiatives that align with the organization's mission to serve the community and promote its services. This role involves managing marketing materials, social media strategies, and media relations, while also fostering a positive work environment and enhancing employee engagement. The position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective outreach to the community and media.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives to meet the needs of the Foundation.
  • Utilize internal resources and outside vendors to create marketing materials with consistent branding.
  • Manage website design and content, ensuring regular updates.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team for strategy and execution of marketing efforts.
  • Oversee social media strategy and content updates to enhance visibility.
  • Work with HR to develop internal marketing strategies for employee engagement.
  • Manage the Foundation's quarterly and monthly newsletters.
  • Coordinate the development and printing of the annual report.
  • Assist with special events and staff training to promote consistent messaging.
  • Articulate the mission, vision, values, and goals of the Cenikor Foundation through various communications.
  • Share marketing updates and reports with the AVP, Marketing & Business Development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Marketing or Business degree preferred.
  • Five years of Marketing/Business Development related experience required.
  • Excellent strategic marketing skills.
  • Proven experience managing a business development team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively under deadline pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Experience with non-profit organizations.
  • Experience in substance use disorder, health care, mental health, or education.
