About the position

The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations for Joint Reconstruction at Johnson & Johnson will lead efforts to optimize the business operations for JNJ MedTech in the region. This role is pivotal in driving commercial strategy at the local level, collaborating with sales leaders and marketing to align with business strategies. The manager will ensure data-driven decision-making is transparent to all stakeholders, focusing on business planning, reporting, and execution activities.

Responsibilities

  • Support AVP for commercial Business Planning leveraging consistent business planning processes and tools.
  • Ensure coordination of required corporate assets using the One Funnel structure.
  • Provide scorecard reviews for the region using the One Funnel structure.
  • Drive data-driven account target identification with Sales Leadership and Marketing using analytics tools.
  • Ensure customer-facing QBRs are in place for contract compliance discussions.
  • Support one funnel process and required analytics leveraging digital tools.
  • Lead regular opportunity/pipeline reviews with Sales Leadership focusing on next actions.
  • Track progress against the pipeline and collaborate with sales management to address variances.
  • Lead development of Area implementation plans and activities to close key opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to drive execution.
  • Lead asset allocation to align resources with customer opportunities, including NPI roll-out processes.
  • Execute in geography Tier 2/3 meetings ensuring cohesive team representation.
  • Serve as power users of CRM and lead sales training for commercial enablement tools.
  • Identify change champions to drive adoption of commercial capabilities and best practices.
  • Communicate critical messages about strategic priorities and must-do's.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a BA/BS degree or equivalent; Business/Marketing/Finance degree preferred, MBA preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant business experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in healthcare/medical device marketing, sales, finance, or other commercial experience.
  • Orthopedic experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability through influencing and managing change.
  • Track record of success in a matrixed organizational environment; enterprise mindset decision-making preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of customers, business intelligence, and industry trends preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership in strategic planning and project management preferred.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with a focus on metrics to gauge performance.
  • Excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills; strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and provide comprehensive solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in orthopedic marketing or sales is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM and digital tools for commercial enablement.
